For this project you and your partner will create two short PSAs. The first one should have a serious tone while the second one may involve humor. For both PSAs, you’ll select one of the topics included at the end of this handout.
Each PSA must include a fully developed script that you are going to use during your shooting. A completed script is a necessary tool in delivering your message. In addition to the script, you need to storyboard the key segments of each film—the storyboards should contain the various shots that you intend to use. You must do a little light background research and reading on your topic. This is due to the fact that you'll most likely be citing some statistics and information in your PSA. The PSA topics, the script and the storyboard must be approved by Mr. M prior to shooting. Storyboards that are poorly developed or show little effort will not be approved for shooting.
